After living near Chinatown, Chicago for years, this is our little slice of it for shopping. Fresh, refrigerator, frozen and shelf-stable, they have a little bit of everything. The staff is friendly and helpful. If you don't know what something is called, show a picture of what you are looking for and they know right away whether they have it and where it is.
Great little place. Has quite a bit for a Vietnamese store. The meat section is very limited. Spice and fresh greens is also limited but sufficient. Overall, not bad. There is also a couple Asian stores locally by this place. But those places have less.
The Boba Tea place is usually Soo good!!! Today it was good, but I had to change my order 4 times because they were out. Even though I loved what I ended up with, they could have added something to the order board. The Vietnamese grocery store is always 100% 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 Extra stars!!! Soooo many snacks to choose from sweet to savory. Candies, chips, cookies, ice cream, frozen and shelf stable mochi..... they've got it all. Every time we go, we MUST get the BBQ pork buns. They are fantastic!! My latest discovery is their section of instant coffees. Wh Wh What??? There are so many to chose from and so far all of the ones I have gotten have been awesome. I will include a picture of the buns and my very favorite instant coffee. The.prices are really fair as well. A+++. Update...the Boba tea has changed a bit but the grocery store is best price around!
Love the bubble tea, the "bubbles" (tapioka) are perfect. Like the sandwich too, Nice break from fast food! Its becoming one of my go to places.
